That’s right, we’ve changed the name! We aren’t all multilingual, but we all come from different backgrounds and cultures that span the world. When we delve into the history of our families, we find that we are amazingly diverse. Our list of languages here at Bryant includes, among others: Korean, Hebrew, Turkish, Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin, Taiwanese), Finnish, Norwegian, Romanian, Russian, Hindi, Spanish, Portuguese, Somali, Tigrigna, German, Thai, Japanese, French, Greek, Arabic, Marathi, Ilocano (Northern Filipino dialect), Burmese, Italian, Gaelic, and ASL sign language.
Please join us on April 22nd at 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. for dinner and entertainment. No potluck this year…we will be serving food from restaurants in the area and asking for a suggested donation for dinner. We’ll have an International Parade of cultural dress (come dressed in the traditional clothing of your culture) and performances by our own students, some of whom take world language classes before or after school here at Bryant. RSVP online now at Bryantschool.org. |
