- Bilingual/Special Education/Learning Assistance Program
Staff provides specialized instruction for qualified students. The members of the team all have graduate degrees in their specialty areas and embrace the opportunity to provide individual and/or small group instruction tailored to student’s particular learning styles and needs.
- OT/PT
An Occupational/Physical Therapist (OT/PT) provides services to qualified students one and one-half days a week
- SLP
A Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) provides services to qualified students on site four days a week Rita Paragas is available through the school office.
- School Psychologist
Bryant has the services of a school psychologist two days a week to assist in assessment of identified students. She is a member of the school Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and participates in the Student Intervention Team (SIT).
- Counselor
Bryant is fortunate to have the services of a part-time Counselor.
- Instrumental Music
Bryant helps purchase the services of an outstanding instrumental music teacher to supplement the program of its full time music teacher. Fourth and fifth grade students receive instruction at a variety of levels and are well prepared for competitive middle and high school instrumental programs. The PTSA funds half-day of instruction, parent donations of $100.00/year fund another half-day, and Seattle Public Schools funds an additional half-day to provide one and one-half days of instruction.
