Thanks to everyone who was able to participate in Walktober Wednesdays!
We passed out hundreds of walk/roll incentives to students during October!
And special thanks to our volunteers who made it happen!
Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the life of Anne Aliverti. The service was a beautiful tribute, filled with heartfelt stories about Anne as a friend, mother, wife, teacher, and colleague. The service concluded with a touching rendition of Annie’s Song by John Denver, beautifully performed by Bryant‘s own Ms. Fahselt, Mr. Dickerson, and Mr. Garlid. We were honored to have Mayor Bruce Harrell in attendance, who proclaimed October 18, 2025 as Anne Aliverti Day — a lasting recognition of her impact on our community and her place in Seattle’s history.
To honor Anne’s Legacy, her family invites you to support Page Ahead and help bring the joy of reading to every child.

Roosevelt High School students are hosting a book drive in memory of beloved educator Anne Aliverti, honoring her lifelong mission of fostering youth literacy.
New and gently used books for all ages will be collected and shared with local schools and literacy programs—continuing Anne’s legacy of inspiring young readers.
Donations can be dropped off at the Bryant Elementary book bins through the end of the month.
Together, we honor Anne’s lasting impact by sharing the joy of books with our community.
Ms. Jo, the new art teacher at Bryant Elementary, is looking for a few volunteers to help throughout the day so that art projects can run more smoothly. There will be more opportunities for you to volunteer every month.
All volunteers must be approved by SPS. If you’re unsure about your volunteer status, please check in with the front office
